Daily Schedule

The Daily Schedule is a guideline that I use to give structure to our day. It helps the children understand what is expected of them and what will be coming next. I try to stick to this schedule as closely as possible but I do recognize that every child is different and needs can change from day to day. I am attentive to the children's interests to ensure they are engaged in the chosen activity

7:30AM to 9:00AM

Arrival and free play. Music and toys available.

Breakfast available if needed.

9:00AM to 9:30AM

Circle time.*

pre-school curriculum

9:30AM to 10:00AM

Morning snack.

10:00AM to 11:30AM

Outside play.

12:30PM to 2:00PM

Afternoon nap or quiet time**

3:00PM to 4:00PM

movie time, outside time or free play

11:30AM to 12:30PM

Lunch time and clean up.

2:00PM to 2:30PM

Afternoon snack

2:30PM to 3:00PM

Craft time

4:00PM to 5:30PM

Free play and pick up.

*Circle time includes singing, rhyming, finger plays, games (duck duck goose etc.), making music, reading a story, show and tell, learning shapes, colours and ABC's, dancing and other fun activities.

**Quiet time can include personal "reading", playing with soft toys, puzzles, colouring etc. It includes free play activities which are less stimulating as well as the option to lay down and relax.
